Cookie Policy

The short version

If you’re just reading, this site sets no cookies at all. There’s no cookie banner because there’s nothing to consent to.

When cookies do get set

  • If you leave a comment — WordPress may save your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t have to retype them next time. They last about a year. You can decline by clearing them in your browser.
  • If I log in — WordPress sets session cookies for me as the site administrator. These never apply to visitors.

Cookies set by other people

When you click an affiliate link and leave this site, the retailer usually sets its own cookie so it can attribute the sale. That’s the retailer’s cookie under the retailer’s policy — I can’t see it and I don’t control how long it lasts.

Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve files to your browser. They don’t set cookies for this purpose, but they do see your IP address as part of serving the request. That’s covered in the privacy policy.

What is definitely not here

  • No analytics cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media pixels.
  • No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking them won’t break anything on this site.
