I want this site to work for everyone who wants to read it.
What’s been done
- Text and background colours are checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios. Where the brand pink was too light to pass for small text, a darker shade is used instead.
- Every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus outline, and the whole site can be navigated by keyboard.
- A “skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard or screen-reader user reaches.
- Headings run in order so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Icon-only buttons and links carry screen-reader labels.
- Tap targets are at least 44×44px.
- Animation is disabled entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion, and content is never hidden behind an animation.
- The site works without JavaScript — nothing essential depends on it.
Known gaps
Images added to posts need descriptive alt text, and older posts may not all have it yet. I’m working through them.
Tell me if something doesn’t work
If any part of this site is hard to use, email hello@bylauna.com and describe what happened and what you were using. I’ll fix it, and I’ll reply to let you know when it’s done.
